The shavette is the preferred tool of professional barbers and experienced wet-shavers.
Although the shavette looks very similar to a traditional straight razor or cut-throat, it does require a different skill set. It's best used for shaving growth around a beard to keep the shape intact (neck and cheeks).
Takes a regular half blade which can be bought in packs of 100 or may be achieved by snapping a regular double-edged blade in two (whilst still in the wrapper). Packs of 100 half-blades are available here: Permasharp and Derby
Features sturdy and grippy scales available in black or white.
