The Oaken Lab soap base stacks up to the very best being produced by other artisans. The lather is very easy to create. It's very slick and luxurious.
The Plein Air scent is subtle and quite unique. I get peppermint with something in the background that cannot define. The label states anise and fennel in the mixture but I don't detect any of that. I think the scent will have broad appeal but I would have liked for it to be a bit more pronounced, like the matching splash.
This razor is quite mild and does the job. Shipping was quite fast, communication was great and I would not hesitate to recommend this store to prospective buyers.

OK first up, this is the most aggressive razor I have ever used. The reviews I've seen on YouTube are spot on. Having said that, I have rather thick facial hair and this baby goes through in a breeze. It is super efficient. Build quality is excellent. It's weighty so you only need a very light touch. You can get away with less aggressive blades as well. Normally I would use a Feather blade but on this I think that may border on insanity.
For me it's the best razor I have used for my personal beard profile, however for others it may be way too aggressive. I really enjoy using it though.
A very pleasant fragrance. Not overpowering. Reminds me a little of the Bvlgari Aqua series but gently floral and sweet. Handy little bottle - good for travel... if anyone is still doing that during these pandemic days!

I found this oil is thicker than other oils which means it goes further. It helps to keep your beard shape for longer.
Looks great, well balanced, good price. The sizing collar idea is great - maybe a future version could allow one or more of the brush slots to be converted into extra razor slots instead for those of us who have more razors than brushes.
Easily absorbed, not greasy at all. Good value for money. I will continue to use this balm.
Amazing service and quick shipping to Canada! This is a very mild razor so it’s impossible to cut yourself with it. The pivoting head makes it feel like you’re shaving with a cartridge razor but without all the extra plastic and irritation afterwards. Gives me very close, smooth and irritation-free shave. I was a bit sceptical about purchasing this product as I have used always a shampoo and conditioner to clean my brushes but after cleaning my brush I was surprised at the amount of lather that I'm now getting The best part its so easy to use and I can see a bottle lasting quite awhile TY Con
