Now, I've already left a review for Earth of Mankind soap, so I'm gonna keep it short here; performance-wise, it's exactly the same (top-notch - bordering elite). Far Afield's scent is definitely a safer bet. Subjective as it may be, I doubt there's gonna be one person out there that will dislike this one. It's a clean and fresh scent, definitely reminds you of cool, open spaces. The main difference with the Earth of Mankind concept though is that FA seems a bit "uninspiring". EoM is one of the most unique aromas in wet shaving these days; FA is another "clean" scent... Oaken Lab doesn't give us the complete note list for this one, but I'm pretty sure it shares a note or two with Batavia Barber too. Which makes it a bit more uninspiring... That said, the aftershave presents itself differently. I mainly get the citrus notes in it, which makes it much more appealing and a great compliment to the soap. All in all, it's a safe scent that most (I think all) of you will enjoy. I deduct one star just for scent preferences, performance - I repeat - is excellent. And not to forget to mention that this vendor definitely deserves your business!

On the plus side--it makes a decent lather. However, I was not fond of the scent. It has a faint chemical smell to it. So I was disappointed.
