The inspiration for this exciting blend was derived from an original formulation dating back to the late 1850s when Truefitt’s offered a service of making up exclusive fragrances for various Regiments, prominent institutions as well as other persons of eminent status.
1805 was finally launched in 1999, a fragrance commemorating the year in which William Francis Truefitt opened his salon doors for the first time and thus established a business that was successful to carry on for the next two centuries and beyond.
1805 was originally derived from a formulation known as the “Palmerston Bouquet” which dated back to the late 1850s. Spray-on and enjoy. The cologne is presented in a beautifully etched traditional bottle with atomiser.
A fresh oceanic fragrance with top notes of Bergamot, Mandarin and Cardamon, combined with a Lavender, Geranium and Clary Sage heart resting on a Sandalwood, Cedar Wood and Musk base.
