From 7–15 February 2026, The Stray Whisker in Blackheath transformed into a vibrant creative hub as we welcomed the Traveler’s Company Notebook Stamp Caravan to the Blue Mountains.
The event announcement alone — featuring the iconic camel-topped stamp and bold STAMP CARAVAN lettering — set the tone for a week filled with artistry, exploration, and analogue joy.
A Store Filled With Traveler’s Company Magic
The moment guests stepped through our door, they were greeted by displays rich with Traveler’s Company charm. Rows of refills and accessories lined the shelves — kraft paper, MD paper, grid layouts, and colourful inserts — inviting customers to explore and pick the perfect companion for their notebooks.

Nearby, a clear acrylic sign featuring a vintage locomotive and the words "TRAVELER’S notebook will set you free!” added to the sense of adventure that the Traveler's evokes.
The Heart of the Event — The Stamp Station
The stamping table quickly became the star attraction. Set near the front window, bathed in natural light, it featured a tray filled with the signature Caravan stamps — each one neatly tied with red-and-white cords.

Open notebooks lay ready for new impressions, and a small wooden stand held examples, sticker sheets, and inspiration pages collected from previous Caravan stops.
Visitors flipped through their notebooks, choosing the perfect spot to capture the moment. Hands hovered carefully over pages, deciding on placement before pressing down the stamp with intention and delight.

A Week of Creativity and Connection
Throughout the event, guests gathered around the table to admire the stamps, share stories, and compare their notebook spreads.

The special event stickers — showcased on a poster above the stamping area — were a highlight. Featuring designs inspired by travel, towns, and vintage motifs, they quickly became treasured keepsakes.
A Meaningful Stop on the Caravan’s Journey
As the Stamp Caravan continued its Oceania tour, The Stray Whisker’s stop became a meaningful chapter in its 2025–2026 journey. Customers left with newly stamped pages, limited‑edition stickers, and inspiration to keep documenting their lives in analogue form.
For us, hosting the event was a joy! a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community right here in the heart of the Blue Mountains.
Thank you to everyone who visited us between 7–15 February. And if you couldn’t make it, we hope to welcome you to our next event.
There’s always a new story waiting to be written at The Stray Whisker...
