You can move between the two effects on the same page, which makes them useful for sketching, illustration, botanical work, or building texture into an art journal without needing to switch tools.
Each pencil is shaped in the classic hexagonal format, so it sits comfortably in the hand and won't roll off a desk. The lead is soft and lays down smoothly, whether you're working in fine detail or blocking in a wash of colour. The wood casing comes from PEFC-certified, sustainably managed forests.
The set comes with 12 assorted colours packed into a metal tin, which keeps the pencils protected and makes the set easy to carry to a studio, a class, or on location.
