One sharpener for both standard and thick pencils. The two openings are sized for different pencils, so you can sharpen a fine writing pencil and a thick colouring or drawing pencil without swapping tools.
Standard black lead pencils up to 8.2mm in diameter go in the first hole and are sharpened to a 23° angle. That steeper point gives clear, accurate lines for writing, sketching and technical work. The second hole takes thicker black lead and coloured pencils up to 10.2mm in diameter, sharpened to a 30° angle for a broader point and a softer line.
The sharpening insert is metal, which suits steady, regular use. A hinged cover catches the shavings as you work, so the desk stays clear and the waste is easy to tip out. The lid has a safety lock that keeps it shut when the sharpener is in a bag, pencil case or drawer.

Who it suits
Students, teachers, illustrators, drafters and anyone who uses graphite or coloured pencils every day will find it useful. It is compact enough for a pencil case or desk drawer and light enough to keep on a bench or in a travel kit.
Tip for best results
Use the smaller hole for everyday writing pencils and the larger hole for jumbo or coloured pencils. Turn the pencil steadily rather than pushing it in hard, which helps the point stay even and reduces breakage.
