Rhodia Touch Bristol Sketchbook Softcover | A5 Landscape, Blank
The Rhodia Touch Bristol Sketchbook is built around one job: holding up to ink without buckling, feathering or pilling. The paper is 205gsm, extra-white and cellulose-based, with a fine, smooth tooth that was developed for precision drawing. It takes fountain pen, calligraphy ink, dip nib, fineliner, marker, brush pen and pencil, and it stands up to layered washes, repeated erasing and scratching back into the surface, which makes it a genuine working sketchbook rather than a notepad that happens to have blank pages.
It opens in landscape format at A5 (21 x 14.8cm), giving a wide, low page that suits panoramic sketches, architectural studies, lettering practice and anything that benefits from working across the width of the page rather than down it. Inside are 32 sheets (64 pages), entirely blank, so there's no grid or ruling to work around.
The softcover is finished in black Italian-style leatherette, a material chosen for durability rather than looks alone, and the book closes with an elastic band to keep pages flat and protected in transit. A ribbon marker holds your place. The paper is acid-free and pH neutral, so finished work won't yellow or degrade over time, and the sketchbook is vegan-friendly throughout.
It's a good fit for urban sketchers, illustrators, architects and students who want paper that can take real punishment from ink and still come out clean, and for anyone who prefers to draw in a wide format rather than a tall one.
