Created to mark sixty years of the Nesti Dante family's soap-making tradition, this bar carries 23-carat gold leaf within a naturally derived, triple-milled formula. Gold has been valued for centuries for its association with vitality and cellular renewal, and here it is worked into a dense, richly lathering bar alongside sustainably sourced palm and coconut oil bases and glycerin to condition as it cleanses.
The fragrance is noble iris, the floral emblem of Florence. Powdery and refined, with warm undercurrents of white rose, cedarwood, orange and grapefruit, it lingers softly on the skin long after rinsing.
What makes it worth using every day
Triple-milling, the traditional Italian method of repeatedly pressing the soap paste through granite rollers, produces a bar that is noticeably denser and longer-lasting than most. The lather is thick and smooth rather than foamy and thin. Skin is left feeling genuinely soft, not stripped.
The formula is free from mineral oils, parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates, synthetic surfactants, PEG and GMO ingredients. Certified vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients and no animal testing.
How to use
Wet hands or skin, work the bar into a lather, massage gently and rinse with warm water. The paper wrapping can be repurposed as a drawer liner, carrying the iris fragrance into your wardrobe.
