A compact grooming case built for the road, made from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather and fitted with four stainless steel tools. It's designed for anyone who wants proper nail and cuticle care available wherever they're staying, without carrying a full grooming kit.
About the case
The leather is natural, untreated cowhide, tanned using a traditional vegetable method rather than chrome tanning. That means the case isn't finished to look uniform. It will pick up small marks and colour changes with handling and travel, and develop its own patina over time, so no two cases age the same way. The leather is cut, assembled and finished by a regional German manufacturer.
What's included
-
Nail clipper – stainless steel, for everyday trimming
-
Cuticle and nail scissors – a combined tool for tidying cuticles and shaping nails
-
Tweezers – precision tips for splinters, ingrown hairs and general grooming
-
Nail file – stainless steel, for smoothing edges after clipping
Each tool sits in its own slot inside the case, so nothing rattles around loose in a bag. If one tool wears out or gets lost, it can be bought separately rather than replacing the whole set.
Why stainless steel
Muhle uses the same grade of stainless steel found in surgical instruments for its manicure tools.
It holds an edge well, resists corrosion, and can be sterilised, which matters for anything that comes into contact with skin and nails.
It's also hypoallergenic, so it's a sensible choice for people who react to lower-grade metals.

Who it suits
This is a set for someone who already takes grooming seriously at home and doesn't want to drop that standard when they're away, whether that's a work trip, a weekend somewhere, or an extended holiday. It also makes a solid gift for a partner, father, or friend who appreciates well-made, functional objects over disposable ones.
