Midori Yuru-Log Life Pattern Stamp Set

A set of four small self-inking stamps designed to mark the shape of an ordinary day, not just the big occasions. Each stamp carries a motif drawn from everyday life: a flower for the days you bring blooms into the house or mark a small anniversary, a camera for a walk worth remembering, a book for a slow day spent reading, and a pen for study or practice. Used together in a notebook or diary, they build a quiet, personal shorthand for how your days actually went.

The four stamps come in soft, muted tones of pink, purple, blue and green, chosen so they sit gently on the page rather than fighting with your handwriting or other decoration. A light press is all that's needed for a clean, even print, and each stamp is good for around 200 impressions before it needs refilling. Refill ink is sold separately.

What makes this set comfortable to use day after day is the cork body. Cork has a small amount of give, so pressing the stamp down doesn't put hard pressure straight into your fingertip the way a solid plastic stamp does. The clear outer case does double duty as a cap for the stamp face, keeping ink off your hands and bag, and the whole set is about the size of a personal seal case, small enough to drop into a pen case or diary pocket.

These stamps pair naturally with Midori's wider Yuru Log range of notebooks and stickers, but they work just as well dropped into any notebook or planner you're already using.

Using and caring for your stamps

• Test each stamp a few times on scrap paper before using it in your diary
• Press gently and evenly; pressing too hard can cause the ink to bleed and the lines to thicken
• The ink is oil-based, so if you want to write or colour over a stamped impression, use a water-based pen rather than an oil-based one to avoid smudging or discolouration over time
• Drying time and sharpness can vary depending on the paper you're stamping on
• Keep the case lid closed when not in use to stop the ink drying out
• Avoid rubbing the stamp face with fingers or anything sharp, as this can damage it
• Keep away from direct sunlight and heat, including hot cars in summer
• Cork is a natural material, so slight variation in appearance between stamps is normal, not a fault
• Oil-based ink can mark fabric, so take care around clothing
