Midori Yuru-Log Cat Design Stamp Set

A set of four self-inking stamps designed to decorate your diary, notebook or planner without overwhelming the page. Each stamp carries a different cat motif, from a curled-up pose to a simple outline, so you can circle a date, mark a mood or just add a bit of character to your daily notes.

The four colours (pink, purple, blue and green) are deliberately soft rather than bold, which keeps them from competing with your handwriting or other stationery on the page. A light, even press is all it takes to get a clean impression, and each stamp is good for roughly 200 uses before it needs refilling. Refill ink is sold separately.

The ink is oil-based, so once it's dry you can colour over the top with a water-based marker without it smudging or bleeding. That makes the cat outlines especially useful if you like adding your own colour or detail by hand.

Each stamp body is made from cork rather than plastic or rubber, which cushions your finger against the pressure of stamping and makes repeated use more comfortable, particularly if you're working through a week's worth of diary entries in one sitting. The clear plastic case doubles as a cap for the stamp face, keeping ink off your bag or desk, and the whole set is about the size of a single name seal case, so it slips easily into a pencil case or diary pocket.

Care and use
Test each stamp a few times before your first proper use to get a feel for the pressure needed. Pressing too hard can cause the ink to spread and blur the outline. If you plan to write or colour over a stamped image, use a water-based pen rather than an oil-based one, as the two inks can interact and discolour over time. Store the case with the lid closed, avoid direct sunlight and hot environments such as a parked car, and don't scrub the stamp face with your finger or anything sharp, as this can damage it. Cork is a natural material, so slight variation in grain and colour between stamps is normal.
