Four small stamps, four soft colours, one simple way to make your notebook pages feel a little more alive. This set is part of Midori's Yuru-Log range, designed for people who like to record their days without fuss. Rather than one bold, opaque stamp, these are self-inking with a light, translucent colour that sits quietly on the page instead of shouting over your handwriting.

What's in the set
The set includes four pre-inked stamps, one in each colour: pink, purple, blue and green. Each stamp features a different animal in a playful pose: a rabbit, a cat, a koala and a monkey. Used along the ruled lines of a notebook, the animals look like they're peeking over or hanging off the line, and adding your own speech bubble turns it into a small scene rather than just a decoration.

Each stamp is good for roughly 200 impressions. When the ink starts to fade, it can be topped up with Midori's separately sold refill ink for the Yuru-Log stamp range, so you don't need to replace the whole set.

Why the cork body matters
The stamp body is made from cork rather than solid plastic. Cork has a small amount of give, which cushions your finger as you press down, so repeated stamping doesn't leave your fingertip sore the way a hard plastic stamp can. Because cork is a natural material, the grain and colour vary slightly from stamp to stamp. This is normal and part of the material, not a flaw.

Compact and easy to carry
Each stamp sits in its own clear plastic case, which doubles as a cap over the stamp face so it won't dry out or mark anything else in your bag. The case is roughly the size of a small hanko (name seal) case, which makes the whole set easy to slip into a pencil case or the pocket of a planner and carry with you.

Care and use
Test each stamp a few times before your first proper use to get a feel for the pressure needed. Pressing too hard can cause the ink to spread and blur the outline. If you plan to write or colour over a stamped image, use a water-based pen rather than an oil-based one, as the two inks can interact and discolour over time. Store the case with the lid closed, avoid direct sunlight and hot environments such as a parked car, and don't scrub the stamp face with your finger or anything sharp, as this can damage it. Cork is a natural material, so slight variation in grain and colour between stamps is normal.
