Midori Yuru-Log Geometric Pattern Stamp Set

A set of four self-inking stamps from Midori's Yuru-Log series, designed for anyone who wants to decorate a notebook without turning it into a craft project. The geometric shapes are soft in colour and simple in form, so they sit comfortably on the page next to handwriting rather than competing with it.

Each stamp presses cleanly with very light pressure, which makes them easy to use directly in a notebook margin, next to a date, or scattered across a spread when you want a bit of visual rhythm to your daily notes. Because the four shapes are designed to work together, you can layer them, cluster them, or space them out to build your own pattern rather than following one fixed design.

The stamp bodies are made from cork, which gives a small but noticeable cushion when you press down. It is a detail aimed at comfort during repeated use, particularly if you tend to stamp several pages in one sitting. Each of the four colours is rated for around 200 impressions, and refill ink is sold separately once a colour starts to fade.

The clear case does double duty. It protects the stamp faces from dust and stray marks when not in use, and it keeps the whole set together at roughly the size of a personal name seal case, small enough to drop into a pencil case or the pocket of a notebook cover.

Good to know before you start stamping

• Pressing too hard can cause the ink to spread and the lines to thicken, so a light touch gives the cleanest result.
• The ink is oil-based. If you plan to write or colour over a stamped design, use a water-based pen, since oil-based pens and markers can smear or discolour over time when layered on top.
• It's worth doing a couple of test presses on scrap paper first, especially on a new page or paper type, since absorbency affects how crisp the impression comes out.
• Keep an eye on clothing and fabric nearby. Being oil-based, the ink can stain if it gets on fabric.
• Close the case fully after use and store it away from heat and direct sunlight, including places like a car interior in summer.
• Avoid rubbing the stamp face with fingers or anything sharp, as this can damage the rubber over time.
• Cork is a natural material, so small variations in grain and colour between stamps are normal rather than a fault.
