The handle is solid beechwood, finished with a rubber grip so it sits comfortably in the hand no matter how many times a day you reach for it. Beneath the surface, the head is air cushioned, which means it flexes slightly against the scalp rather than pressing into it. The result is a brushing motion that feels considered rather than mechanical.
The bristle itself is a mix of nylon quill and natural bristle, chosen specifically because it has no rough edges to catch or scratch. It moves through knots without tugging, and as it works, it carries the hair's natural oils from root to tip. The outcome is a smoother, more natural shine, built up gradually rather than coated on.
At 175mm overall, with an 80mm handle and 54mm width, this is the small format in the Perfect For Smoothing range, sized to travel well without losing any of the performance of its larger counterpart. Slip it into a bag, a desk drawer, or a coat pocket and it earns its place there.
