Book Lover's Journal

For the reader who takes books seriously, this is the journal that does justice to a life spent in print.

The Book Lover's Journal is a thoughtfully structured hard-cover reading companion designed to hold the full arc of a literary life. It is not a simple notebook. It is a dedicated record keeper, a reflective tool, and a quietly beautiful object in its own right.

What's inside
The journal provides space to read, record, and review up to 100 books, along with a dedicated wishlist section for up to 100 titles you intend to read next. There are also pages to track books you have borrowed, lent, given, and received, and space to reflect on your literary journey from childhood to today.

Each book entry gives you room to record the title, author, date read, genre, and your own considered thoughts - the kind of detail that fades from memory far faster than we expect.

Materials and construction

The pages are printed on archival-quality, acid-free 120 gsm paper, which resists yellowing and preserves entries for years to come. Lightly ruled lines guide the hand without overpowering the page. The binding is a durable bookbound hardcover with an elastic closure, ensuring the journal stays securely shut whether it lives on a bedside table or travels in a bag. A matching ribbon bookmark holds your place without the need for folded corners or loose slips of paper.

Dimensions
The journal measures 15.9 cm wide by 21cm high - substantial enough to write in comfortably, compact enough to keep close at hand. 160 pages in total.

Who it's for
This journal suits the reader who has always meant to keep a proper record of what they have read, and the avid reader who already does and wants a more fitting place to do it. It makes a considered gift for a book club member, an English teacher, a retired academic, a voracious fiction reader, or anyone whose shelves are the most revealing thing in their home.

The second edition has been revised and updated, with a refined interior layout and cover treatment that reflects the quality of the paper within.

A reading life deserves a proper record. This is it.
