Tabac Original Shave Soap and Bowl

The performance of this soap is outstanding, especially given its price. Yes the scent is divisive. I wasn't a fan at first but it has grown on me significantly! Great stuff.

Excellent lather and after shave feel

Easy to lather for the perfect shave. Some people dislike the scent but I enjoy it. I'll always have this classic in my collection!

Can't beleive I waited so long to get TABAC. It's absolutely sensational, perfect, thick glossy lather, wonderful slick and cushiony protection. The scent reminds me of my childhood, it is wonderfully masculine and has a lovely clean, fresh scent, soapy...the lather is crazy good. Buy it you won't regret it.. The bowl is classy as well..this has taken place as one of my favourites.

I'd actually had a stick of Tabac I'd purchased in Munich during my travels last year as I was having trouble lathering a cream I packed (water in parts of Europe can be exceptionally hard) . I found Tabac had the capacity to create a brilliant, cushioning, slick lather very quickly in any water conditions . I was enamored with this product immediately. Some time after my return, I noticed it sold on "The Stray Whisker" and immediately ordered a bowl. I have been using the puck in my regular rotation and have been delighted with its ease of use and performance. It leaves my skin cool and comfortable (something that some soaps fail to achieve). It appears to be triple milled so is quite a hard soap that will last quite a long time. This is a product that has a fragrance that is loved by some and met with indifference by others. I quite enjoy it . I actually associate the scent with a clean and comfortable shave. If you are looking for a high performance shaving soap - this is it! You won't regret having this in your shaving den.
