A pair of household scissors doesn't usually get much thought put into it, but Japanese manufacturer Plus have spent years refining this one detail: the angle at which the blades meet the material you're cutting. Standard scissors start wide and close to a sharp point as you work toward the tip, which is why the last centimetre of a cut often feels like it's dragging rather than slicing.
The Fitcut Curve range solves this with a gently curved blade that holds a consistent 30 degree cutting angle from the base all the way to the tip, so the scissors cut with the same ease whether you're starting a line or finishing one.
This Premium edition adds a titanium coating to the blades. Titanium is harder than standard steel, which means the edge holds its sharpness for longer (Plus rate it for over 500,000 cuts) and resists rust and corrosion, useful in a kitchen or bathroom, or anywhere humidity is a factor.
The blades themselves use a 3D design that only makes contact right at the cutting point rather than along the full length of the blade. In practice, this means far less residue and stickiness when you're cutting through tape, labels, or anything with adhesive on it, since there's simply less surface for glue to cling to.
A reinforced ring around the central pivot keeps the two blades aligned and stops them from flexing apart during use, which is what gives the scissors their precise, controlled feel even after repeated use. The handles have soft rubber inserts for a secure, comfortable grip, and the tips are rounded rather than pointed, a small change that makes them noticeably safer to have around the house or in a bag. A blade cover is included, so you can store or carry them without worrying about the edge.
Good for
Paper and card, tape and adhesive labels, packaging, craft projects, and general use around the home or office.

Care
The titanium coating is water resistant, so the blades can be rinsed clean if they pick up adhesive residue or food. Dry them before storing, and keep the blade cap on when not in use.
