Who it is designed for
The PF18 is sized for medium to fine hair at shoulder length or longer. If your hair is prone to frizz, sits flat and limp, or tends to separate unevenly after washing, this brush addresses all of that without aggravating the scalp or creating static.

It is intended for use on dry hair.

Construction and materials

• The body is shaped from high-quality beechwood, which gives the brush a solid feel without unnecessary weight. The handle incorporates a rubber grip panel for comfort during longer brushing sessions.
   
• The paddle head is air-cushioned, which means it flexes gently against the scalp rather than pressing against it with fixed resistance. This matters particularly for finer hair types, where the scalp is more sensitive and where heavy pressure can cause breakage.
  
  
• The quills are fine, ball-tipped nylon. The ball tips prevent scratching and allow the quills to glide through tangles rather than catching on them. For fine hair, this distinction is significant. Coarser quills or unfinished tips can split and stress individual strands over time.
