Booze & Baccy Beard Balm
A beard balm built for men who take their grooming seriously and their evenings even more so. This is the final piece of the Booze & Baccy trio, a collaboration between Captain Fawcett and stylist Ricki Hall, formulated to tame, condition and scent the beard in one application.
The balm is made from a blend of five base creams and exotic waxes, worked through with ten essential oils. Shea butter and almond oil soften and condition the beard, while candelilla wax and crambe seed oil give just enough hold to keep flyaway hairs in place without stiffness or shine. The result is a beard that looks groomed rather than styled, with a natural finish that holds its shape through the day.
The fragrance is where this balm sets itself apart. Top notes of bay rum, orange and bergamot open into a heart of galbanum, white thyme and coriander, settling into a base of honeyed tobacco, frankincense, benzoin and vanilla. It is warm, smoky and a little worn in, like a leather jacket left on the back of a chair in a wood panelled bar. Not sweet, not sharp. Just well balanced.
How to use
Warm a small amount between the palms, work it through the beard from root to tip, then comb or brush through to set the shape. A little goes a long way. For longer or thicker beards, start with a pea sized amount and build from there.

Good to know
This balm is formulated for conditioning and light hold.
If you're after stronger control for sculpting or shaping facial hair, a moustache wax will do that job better.
The fragrance is part of the formula itself rather than a separate cologne, so expect it to be present but not overpowering through the day.
