The Ink
Ambre de Baltique is a water-based ink made from all-natural dyes, pH-neutral and non-toxic, with an average flow and a dry time of around 20 seconds on a medium nib. It is fast-drying and lightfast, though it is not waterproof, so it rewards careful handling of finished pages. The formulation includes a humectant to limit drying at the nib and a preservative to maintain ink quality over time. The Cartridges
Each box contains seven cartridges in the standard international long format, each holding 1.35 ml of ink. Cartridge length is 72 mm. These standard international long cartridges fit many fountain pens, but they are not compatible with Pilot, Lamy, Sailor, Platinum, or other proprietary-format pens. They are compatible with Jacques Herbin and Ferris Wheel Press pens. The box is resealable, which keeps unused cartridges protected and makes storage tidy.
