This A4 blank notepad is built around the same extra-white, ultra-smooth 90 gsm paper that has made the Triomphe name synonymous with fine French stationery for over six decades. It is the kind of paper that people seek out deliberately, and return to reliably.
The paper
At 90 gsm, the Triomphe sheet has real presence on the desk - it does not shift, curl, or feel insubstantial beneath the hand. The surface is exceptionally smooth, with a consistency that suits fountain pens in particular. Ink flows cleanly, dries with satisfying crispness, and sheen-heavy inks are shown to their best advantage. Ballpoint and rollerball users will find the surface equally responsive.
The paper is acid-free and pH-neutral, meaning it will not yellow or degrade over time. Notes, correspondence, and sketches made on Triomphe paper have genuine archival longevity - a consideration worth having when the quality of what you write merits it.
The format
Blank pages give full freedom of layout - useful for those who write long-hand, sketch margins, or use unconventional lettering. A single ruled guide sheet with 8 mm spacing is included and slides beneath each page, providing a subtle visual guide without committing to pre-printed lines. The pad is glue-bound at the top, allowing individual sheets to tear away cleanly and squarely.
The cover is white cardboard, soft but structured, with a fold-back design that keeps the working surface clear. There are 50 sheets per pad (100 pages), enough to use freely without rationing.
