Edwin Jagger Chrome Lined DE89 Safety Razor

Great razor not just for beginners but for anyone. I stopped using a DE razor in the '70s when Wilkinson Sword blades went downhill. I have used an electric razor and the Mach3 razors since. I dragged out my old Gillette adjustable TTO and started using that last year, it was OK but not what I wanted. The Edwin Jagger DE89 is perfect for me shaving is enjoyable again. I will experiment with different blades to find one I like best, they are a lot cheaper than disposables.

A great razor for a first time user. It has good weight and doesn't slip (not that I have any point of reference). Very happy since I made the change from a disposable to this safety razor.

Fantastic razor for a beginner such as myself I did buy a real cheap razor before the EJ 89 to see if shaving like my grandfather was the way to go. The cheap one does not compare to the EJ 89, the 89 is perfectly weighted and give a smooth shave with great control, I would recommend this to anyone.
