Fill the plastic barrel at the tap, then gently squeeze it to send water through a valve into the nylon tip. Light pressure gives a slow, controlled flow, and a firmer squeeze gives more. It works well for laying down a wash, lifting colour, softening edges and blending, and it's especially handy for sketching outdoors or painting anywhere water is hard to come by.

The nylon tip is firm and holds its shape through repeated use, so it returns to a clean point after a session. Each pack contains four brushes in fine, medium, broad and chisel (wedge) tips, so you can switch between fine lines and broad washes without changing brushes.

What's in the pack

Four water brushes: fine, medium, broad and chisel tip

Plastic barrels that refill with water

Valve system for an even, consistent water release

Caps to protect the tips when not in use

Sold on a blister card

Care
Rinse the tip after each session to keep pigment from drying in the bristles.
